Majura Women’s Group Program
Providing opportunities for friendship and creative outlet for women with young children. Come along on Wednesdays during school term from 9.30am to 12:30. We meet at the Downer Community Centre. Childcare for children 9 months+ provided for a gold coin donation. New members are always welcome. Our activities are open to all mums with kids under 5 years of age. No bookings required, just show up!

Wednesdays 16th October 9:30am | Resin Craft Even wanted to learn got to work with resin? Today is your chance! This week the team from Let's Pour will be teaching us how to safely use resin to create our own keyrings, earrings and hair clips. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
23rd October 9:30am | Bluey Christmas Garden Stands
The end of the year is fast approaching and festive spirit is in the air! This week we will be decorating our own Bluey themed Christmas garden ornaments to bring some cheer to our neighbourhoods. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
30th October 9.30am | Managing Big Feelings
Managing children’s big emotions is challenging and part of everyday life as a parent or caregiver. This workshop presented by Marymead will provide 3 clear strategies for helping children move through their emotions so they are able to re-engage with play, learning and daily routines. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
6th November 9.30am | Cupcake Decorating
Tasty treats are in store this week! Rosie's Cakes will be running a cupcake decorating workshop, teaching us how to professionally decorate cupcakes to take home)with piped buttercream, sprinkles, mini chocolates, macarons and mini cookies. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |

Get those creative juices flowing as Anne Patterson from Close to My Heart brings us her mobile craft studio for a morning of papercraft. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
20th November 9.30am | Vase Painting
This week MWG member Eliesha will be teaching us some stunning techniques to paint dip and decorate our very own ceramic vases. Brighten up your house, or someone else's as a Christmas gift! All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
27th November 9.30am | Polymer Clay Bowls
Local artist Lex Sorrentino has been teaching sculpting in Polymer & Air-Drying Clay for approximately 24 years. And this week she will be sharing her knowledge with us, as we learn how to make and bake beautiful polymer clay bowls. All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |

Don your active wear and let's get this party started! We welcome back the ever popular Naomi to lead us in some energetic Zumba dancing (and this year, we have aircon!). All mums of kids aged 0-5 welcome. |
11th December 9.30am | Fabric Art
This week we are turning something old into something new! Create your own works of art with scrap fabric sourced from our local community with a bit of help from some hot glue and a needle & thread. All mums of kids 0-5 welcome. |

UnFinished Objects! Bring along an activity from earlier in the year which you haven't finished, or anything crafty you are in the process of making at home that you want to work on. Don't have a project on the go? Help yourself to an activity from our cupboard. All mums of kids 0-5 welcome. |
